WHY DOES MY LAND ROVER SAY RESTRICTED PERFORMANCE AND WHAT DOES IT MEAN?
Why is my Land Rover flashing the red triangle with an exclamation mark while saying Restricted Performance?
The Restricted Performance alert indicates that there is an issue within your Land Rover’s power system. The power system is the internal function of your Land Rover and should be inspected by your dealer. Your dealer will most likely hook your Land Rover up to a computer to pinpoint the issue.
The Restricted Performance alert does not specify the internal issue, and this alert does not mean your vehicle is going into lower combustion. However, it does mean that your car will preserve the engine by restricting you from going certain miles per hour. Your Land Rover runs in something like a safety mode until the issue is fixed. If not serviced, your Land Rover will not start depending on the issue.
