The Land Rover Defender is Even More Adventurous

If you know anything about the Land Rover Defender, you know that there’s nothing that stops this luxury off-road vehicle from conquering a challenge. The 2024 Land Rover Defender may look the same for the new model year, but we assure you that there are a plethora of amenities in store. The long wheelbase Defender, coined the Defender 130, is now available with the robust 518 horsepower supercharged V8 engine that was originally only available on Defender 90 and 110 models.

Also new for 2024 is the introduction of the Outbound trim level. Exclusive to Defender 130 models, this trim removes the third row seating to provide additional cargo space and further versatility thanks to a variety of adventurous accessories.

New Updates for the Discovery Sport

The 2024 Land Rover Discovery Sport is an adventurous compact SUV that offers luxury, capability, and class without a six-figure starting price. For 2024, this compact SUV joins the lineup of other Range Rovers that feature the latest and greatest infotainment system from Land Rover. Dubbed Pivi Pro, this intuitive infotainment system measures out to 11.4-inches and is displayed on a striking curved glass panel.

Featuring standard Apple CarPlay^® and Android Auto^™, as well as a standard smartphone charging pad, the Discovery Sport will leave you wanting for nothing.

The 2024 Land Rover Range Rover

The legendary Land Rover Range Rover is also receiving some bold new updates for 2024, and many of these updates lie under the hood.

The Range Rover SV is powered by a 4.4-liter Supercharged V8 engine that produces a riveting 523 horsepower. For 2024, the Range Rover SV receives a power boost and produces a jaw-dropping 606 horsepower and 553 lb-ft of torque. This full size SUV is estimated to launch to 60 MPH in a mere 4.3 seconds.

In case you weren’t aware, the luxurious Range Rover is available in a plug-in hybrid model. 2023 models were dubbed P440e and generated a robust 434 horsepower from the combination of their electric powertrain and turbocharged inline six-cylinder engine. For 2024, the internal combustion engine remains, however a new 215-horsepower electric motor livens things up a bit. Generating a total of 542 horsepower, this model has been dubbed the P550e, and is estimated to launch to 60 MPH in as little as 4.8 seconds.
