The all-new 2022 Range Rover offers an evolved version of the classic Land Rover Range Rover silhouette, with powertrain options that include a V6 blended into a hybrid, or a 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8.

The SV edition carries a 523-horsepower V8 and offers over 1.6 million options to personally customize and enhance your new SUV.

Once you have made the decision to create a Range Rover SV that is distinctly your own, you will begin by working with Land Rover’s Special Vehicle Operations team to configure your new SUV with the personalized options of your choice. With so many possible combinations, the likelihood that you will ever encounter another Range Rover like yours grows more remote with each new choice you make.

With its unique front bumper and five-bar grille design, the Range Rover SV already stands apart from the standard 2022 Range Rover. Moreover, SV models display a unique ceramic “SV” roundel on the tailgate, which identifies it to those in the know as a luxury, bespoke vehicle built to your exact specifications by the Land Rover SVO team.

The ceramic treatment finds its way inside the vehicle too, where it enhances the gear shifter, drive mode selector, and volume controls. Fabricating these signature ceramics is a ten-week process during which the raw material is injected into molds, heated to 2,700 degrees, precision ground to smooth the surface; then diamond polished to achieve a glossy finish, or sandblasted to create a satin finish.

Other interior choices include laser-cut wood inlays (from sustainable wood sources, of course) on the center console, as well as custom upholstery—with SV-specific embroidery designs—that uses soft but durable aniline leather, near-aniline leather, or a synthetic “Ultrafabric” infused with all the luxurious qualities of leather, but 30 percent lighter. Should you desire, you can even have your front and rear seats upholstered in different colors.

On the outside, there is new metal trim with either Atlas Silver or Anthracite plating on the grilles, as well as seven different choices of wheel trims, depending on the powertrain and design theme.

Color-wise, the Range Rover SV is available in every standard Range Rover color. For a more personalized touch, however, there are fourteen additional hues included in the SV Bespoke Premium Palette—ranging from vivid glosses to subtle satin finishes.

If you are not quite ready for the SVO level of customization, the Land Rover SV is available in two pre-curated combinations. The first, SV Serenity, is Icy White on the outside with Corinthian Bronze accents, with the same shade of bronze available as an option for the roof and wheel accents. The front seats are clad in brown leather while the rear seats are finished in white.

The second pre-curated combination, SV Intrepid, comes in Sunrise Copper with a satin finish on the outside, while its interior uses white and light gray ultrafabrics.

These personalized customizations take place at Land Rover’s state-of-the-art Special Vehicle Operations Technical Center, located in Warwickshire, England. With over 215,000 square feet of space, this specialized manufacturing facility includes over forty engineering inspection bays, a world-class paint facility and is home to a team of 200 top-flight specialists who are ready to elevate your Land Rover driving experience to the highest level of automotive excellence.
